John was baptizing in the

Jesus told John to Baptize him Becuase

After Jesus was baptized
- A dove came down and rested on Him

- He took John's place and started baptizing others
- he went into the wasteland for forty days
A voice from Heaven Said
- John you did well
- Your ministry begins now
- You are my beloved Son
- I am Pleased
After these Events John knew
- Jesus was a propheg
- he should continue baptizing
- Jesus was the Messiah
- He should stop baptizing others
When John learned the crowds were now going to Jesus he was
- Jealous and began to complain
- upset and told the crowds to come to him
- Glad they were doing so
- began a new ministry of his own
John had told the people
- He was not Christ
- He was the Christ
- Belief was not important
- To believe as they would
It was as if Christ were the bridegroom and John the
- Bride
- minister
- The bridegroom
- Friend of the bridegroom
John said Jesus must become greater and he, John must become
- Invisible
- Even Greater
- Less important
- equal
John said Jesus must become greater and he, John must become

- It will make us important
- We will make our parents proud
- It is "the right thing to do"
